· Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, CIS, or related field and
10+ years of experience in an IT support environment with technical
experience in distributed technologies and systems development. Additional
equivalent work experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.
· 5+ years of infrastructure engineering experience working across
multiple domains, platforms, or specialty areas
· 3+ years of experience in a leadership role with or without
direct reports
· * 10+ years’ experience* in enterprise database infrastructure,
including performing data backups, migration, and database performance
tuning.
· 8+ years’ experience in the design, configuration, and
integration of relational databases.
*Job Description:*
· Manage SQL Server databases through multiple product lifecycle
environments, from development to mission-critical production systems.
· Configure and maintain database servers and processes, including
monitoring of system health and performance, to ensure high levels of
performance, availability, and security.
· Apply data modeling techniques to ensure development and
implementation support efforts meet integration and performance expectations
· Independently analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time,
providing problem resolution end-to-end.
· Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document
changes
· Assist developers with complex query tuning and schema refinement.
· Perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment
activities after hours.
· Share domain and technical expertise, providing technical
mentorship and cross-training to other peers and team members.
