CCENT Security
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems,
Information Technology, or 4 years’ equivalent experience in an IT or
Networking related field
• Cisco CCENT, Juniper JNCIA, or equivalent required. Cisco
CCNA preferred.
• Professional experience with production networks and systems
• An extreme desire to discover, learn and work with new and
innovative infrastructure technology hardware, software and services.
• Attentive to operational detail
• Strong ability to stay focused and prioritize tasks in a fast
paced environment
• Extensive ability to multitask and manage multiple
initiatives simultaneously
• Experience working in a start up environment a plus
• Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
• Ability to receive and implement feedback immediately

Qualified applicants should have experience in production environments with

- Deep knowledge of general networking at all layers of the OSI model
- Cisco IOS / IOS XE
- 802.11 Wireless solutions (Ruckus Wireless preferred)
- Access point placement and heat mapping
- Structured cabling (CAT6, SMF, MMF, etc)
- Layer 2 technologies (VLAN’s, Trunking, STP, etc)
- Power over Ethernet (802.3af, 802.3at)
- Managed layer 2 switches (Cisco and HP preferred)
- Experience with routing (OSPF, Static, and Redistribution)
- Private WAN Connections – Types, procurement, implementation
- Internet connections – Types, procurement, implementation
General job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Communicate with prospective clients to design implementations
- Executing the site deployment process
- Creating and maintaining documentation (Bill of Materials, Scope of Work,
Design, etc.)
- Design new network architecture for client sites based upon standards
- Setup, install, and configure systems based on documented installation
procedures
- Improve existing architecture of the platform
- Evaluate and implement vendor solutions
- Participate in on site deployments
- Provide detailed feedback to management in order to better overall
business process
- Develop, document and maintain new solutions

CCENT Network Storage Analyst Needed
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
• Installs network operating systems, such as Linux and
Microsoft Windows, as well as other network software/upgrades. Provide
support as needed.
• Responds to alarms and alerts within the environment
utilizing tools such as SolarWinds, System Center Operations manager and
System Center Configuration.
• Installs, maintains, configures and manages the day-to-day
operations of: fiber channel SAN array hardware and software, Virtual
server environment
eCommunication system software, eCommunications spam and anti-virus
systems, email archiving, mobile communications devices, desktop faxing
software, network hardware and software with emphasis on routers, switches
and firewalls, wireless network systems, Intrusion prevention systems
Web filtering systems, network backup, data security and virus protection
strategies, access control systems,
Assists with application server software troubleshooting when requested by
other CommIT staff or vendors.
• Manage Active Directory including user accounts, file
permissions, and access rights in accordance with best-practices regarding
privacy, security, and regulatory compliance.
• Manage user setup and security for applications, such as
email, RightFax and other related software.
• Administer, monitor and report on security solutions such as
anti-virus and windows security patching.
• Administers the system used for compliance and security
awareness. Verify compliance and take appropriate actions for those that
are not compliant.
• Maintains documentation on network hardware, software,
installation settings and various other network and communication
specifications.
• Participates in procurement activities for acquisition of
network infrastructure, enterprise storage, or eCommunication
hardware/software.
Required: Associate's degree or certificate from an accredited college or
university with major coursework in computer field or equivalent work
experience. Education or equivalent experience equal to the following:
• VMWare vSphere: Install, Configure, Manage course
• Administering Windows Server 2012 course
• Administering Systems Center 2012 Configuration Manager Course
• Symantec EndPoint Protection Administration online training
• Interconnecting Cisco Networking Devices – Part 1 course
• Compellent Administration and Advanced Management
Experience
Required: three to five (5) year’s experience in multi-server/LAN systems
including software and hardware application and configuration.
Demonstrated ability to diagnose and address problems and monitor the
progress of initiatives and activities. High knowledge level of technology
components used in complex IT environments.
Certifications/ Licenses
Required: Compatia Network+ certification. Valid Virginia driver's license
with good driving record.
Preferred: Cisco CCENT, Novell CNA, Microsoft (MCSA), or VMWare (VCA-DCV)

CCENT Voice Technician
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
• Fiber optic troubleshooting with 1310, 1490 and 1550 nm
wavelengths.
• IP and LAN troubleshooting and solution methodologies
• Router, Access point, Bridge and Wi-Fi administration
• Performs reconnects, requested and non-pay disconnects, and
changes of service, while adhering to: Hotwire Communications procedures
and safe work practices in order to provide (or remove) services to the
customer
Requirements :
• Must have minimum of 5 years’ experience installing, testing
and troubleshooting cable, phone and internet
• Must have Fiber Optic Cabling experience
• Must be proficient using small hand tools and larger power
tools.
• Must be comfortable working on a ladder and all heights.
• Ability to install all types of CAT5/CAT6 drop wire
• Ability to install connectors on CAT5/CAT6 drop wire
• Ability to successfully install all ancillary equipment
provided to subscribers
• Ability to trouble shoot IP issues from any
telecommunications demark to customer premise equipment
• Ability to identify Fiber Connectors and color code
• Ability to configure, customers PC for successful internet
operation
• Ability to test and tone all drop wires from equipment room
to end user location
• Must have valid driver’s license and transportation
• Must be able to work with or without direct supervision.
• Ability to work an On-Call Schedule rotation
Basic Qualifications:
• Associates Degree in Internet Technologies or Engineering is
preferred.
• Cisco Certifications, CCT or CCENT entry level certificates.

Cisco Unity Support Specialist
Essential Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support on a worldwide basis to customer sites
including the following technologies:
- Contact Center Express and Enterprise (IPCC)
- ICM/CVP
- Cisco Call Manager
- Cisco Unity Connection
- IP/TDM Gateways
- Jabber
- Cisco Telepresence
- Audio/Web conferencing
- Determine methods and procedures for solving complex technical issues
encompassing hardware, software and networking.
- Generate clear and concise documentation in the form of Knowledge
Articles, FAQs and technical tips.
- Works on complex problems where analysis of situations requires
in-depth root cause analysis, and troubleshooting skills.
- Acts as a focal point for organizing a technical team, driving
resolution and communicating status during critical, high impact incidents.
- Communicate to the support stakeholders ensuring project/technology
transition after a successful deployment of a new Cisco voice system.
- Engage with vendors to collaborate on support and monitoring tools,

- Strong technical knowledge in one of the following: software,
hardware, and networking, particularly troubleshooting, repair, sales, etc.
- Prior experience in customer service or call center environment IP
protocol and network experience highly desirable
- Working knowledge of client technical systems Solid understanding of
computing technology including hardware components, data storage, operating
systems, software applications, common peripheral devices, and external
connectivity
- Sound problem solving skills with linear and logical troubleshooting
skills Process knowledge, assessment, design and documentation skills
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills Strong oral and written
communication skills
- Solid analytical, technical, and project management skills
- Must have proficiency with various software applications including
Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Skilled in multi-tasking Ability to work independently with minimal
supervision
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and work in a concise, clear and
focused manner
- Demonstrated ability to work with a team. Able to work a 24 hour, 7
day rotation schedule if required
