*Job Description*
· At least 8 years’ experience in the IT domain with 3+ years of
hands on experience of Vertica development
· Should have good knowledge of Vertica and cluster Architecture
(WOS, ROS, HA)
· Should have good knowledge of Vertica Components like: Logical
and Physical Schemas, Databases
· Should be an expert in using complex Vertica SQL, Flex tables etc
· Should be experienced in Performance Tuning in Vertica which
includes creation of projection, partition swapping etc.
· Hands-on implementation of E2E Vertica components
· Should have good knowledge of BI and Data Warehousing and ETL
· Proactive, Quick Learner, Problem Solver & Decision Maker.
· Should be able to easily understand architecture designed by
architects
· Good analytical & communication skills
· Should have strong SQL knowledge and communication skills
· Experienced person with ability to work in teams
