*Title: - SDET (Software design engineer in Test)*
*Location: - Redmond WA ( Need Local consultant )*
*Duration: Long Term*
• 2-3 plus years software testing experience
• 1 year development using a Microsoft product
• Experience with Application testing including Windows, Android and iOS
platforms
• Solid knowledge of software quality assurance practices and the typical
device SW development/test process
• Familiarity with MS tools: TFS/VSO/Product Studio
• Basic scripting or coding, and has the ability to read and write C/C++/C#
as required
• Python scripting experience would be a plus
• Experience on USB, Bluetooth protocol, Audio codec, Audio quality related
testing or Skype related testing preferred
• Experience on Interoperability, Coexistence, Over the Air Testing, Rate
vs Range, BT certification, USB certification, Power consumption testing
and optimization will be a bonus
• Debugging and troubleshooting skills, ability to isolate issues in
complex scenarios. Ability to deal with ambiguity, and define test plans
from variables
• Strong work ethic
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering/Computer Science and some
business/functional knowledge helpful
• Plan and manage deliverables to support the E2E SW Testing for a new
Surface Audio Product, for both Firmware and Application SW
• Create, maintain and control the Project SW Test schedule and dashboard
• Create Test Plan and Test cases to cover E2E SW development
• Drive and act on requirement verification and validation activities
• Conduct the Testing for the program, and increase Test efficiency thru
Test automation
• Facilitate Bug Triage meetings, and proactively identify risks to the
Project
• Facilitate program communications and provide regular status reports for
Testing activities as required
