*Job Description: *
· Senior developer of iOS applications who has a degree in Computer
science or Computer engineering and possesses:
· 3 years + of iOS application software development experience on
at least 4 projects that can be searched on the app store.
· Expert-level understanding of native iOS and/or Mac development
using Xcode and Objective-C or Swift.
· Experience with iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation,
etc.
· Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance
tuning.
· Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to
back-end services.
· Knowledge of other web technologies and UI/UX standards.
· Understanding of Apple’s design principles and interface
guidelines.
· Knowledge of low-level C-based libraries is preferred.
· Experience with performance and memory tuning with tools such as
Instruments and Shark, depending on project needs.
· Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications.
· Knowledge of benchmarking and optimization.
· Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git,
Mercurial or SVN.
· Familiarity with continuous integration.
· Ability to evaluate and communicate technical risk and ensure
applications are deployed against a schedule with the highest quality
possible.
· Good optimization and debugging skills.
· Excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.
