*Position: Technical Lead – IoT (Bluemix/ AWS/ Azure/ etc.)*
*Location: St. Joseph, MI*
*Duration: Long term (12 months+)*
*JOB DESCRIPTION:*
· *Years of Experience Required:* 4-6 years of overall experience
with 2-3 years of experience in IoT domain (Bluemix or AWS or Azure, etc..)
· *API *experience required. (Knowledge in Java, Rest is a plus)
· *Education Requirements:* BS. IS, Engineering or equivalent
· A Technical Lead takes responsibility for the technical delivery
of a project(s)
· Leads the technical team's daily activities, resolves problems
and issues

*ACCOUNTABILITIES:*
· Understands project scope ensures final solution meets
requirements
· Understand the timeline and helps make right decision to keep

· Works directly with Connected Appliance Project Manager on the
implementation of existing features for projects
· Solves technical issues with team during project execution
· Provides input into the new Features Roadmap
· Knowledge of the workings of Appliance, M2M, WISE, Mobile App,
and internal/external Integration to solve problems
· Competency on all the development and operational tools required
*DELIVERABLES:*
· Working product
· Ensuring specifications are up to date and providing feedback to
specification owner
· Updates platform support process documentation
· Following are some of the criteria against which I have evaluated
Tech lead
· Responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance
of applications deployed to the global IoT platform
· Responsible for the ownership for detailed business process and
requirements knowledge for existing and new business initiatives
· Identify reuse and simplification opportunities across business
processes.
· Serve as subject matter expert when called upon to troubleshoot
issues, or represent business processes across functions
· Contribute and participate in change management, training and
communication activities
· Work with Portfolio, Business , and Supplier resources to
identify requirements and analyze the implications within the context of
the solution set
· Participate in solution research, evaluation, RFI, and RFP
activities to select appropriate platform and delivery suppliers
· Support the adoption of existing assets and appropriate
utilization of new Platform capabilities based on business and technical
requirements
· Support the embedment of Platform-specific SDLC methodologies,
collaborating with Project Managers and Delivery Leads to capture
estimating drivers and frame the solution implementation approach and plan
