*Business Analyst *

· Technical Business Analyst - in depth understanding of Shaw
system required-can be remote but manager would like person in Dallas if
possible.
· The Business Analyst must be a subject matter expert in the use
of the Shaw Retail (IL) and Shaw Collections (CS) system. Experience with a
variety of consumer loan products including automobile loans, Home Equity
Loans and Lines of Credit is required. The individual must be able to
effectively translate business requirements into technical specifications.
Strong communication and organizational skills are required. Individual
will be working in fast-pace , multi-client environment.
· Essential Job Functions
- Configure new Clients onto Shaw Retail (IL) and Collection (CS)
systems. Train new clients and end users on the use of the system.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications for use
by the application development group. Assist with developing test cases for
testing changes to the Shaw applications.
- Working with the IT/application development team testing & installing
new Shaw enhancements, upgrades or break/fix releases.
- Data mapping, testing and balancing for portfolio/loan conversions
onto the Shaw system
- Work with the application development team providing estimates to
Account Managers for client program or system changes.
- Assist with problem resolution, business development support and
program performance.
- Maintains currency with industry trends and forecasts. Recommend
modifications and/or new processes to maintain competitiveness in the
industry.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and
experience in Banking/Consumer Finance
- Six or more years Consumer Loan operations/business analyst experience
- Project management experience
- Experience working with information technology applications and
infrastructure
- 5+ years working with Shaw IL/Retail and Collection Consumer Loan
systems; release upgrades, portfolio conversions and client implementations.
Other Qualifications
- Good organization and time management skills
- Good written and oral communication and facilitation skills
- Ability to conceptualize, design, develop and apply business and
technical specifications
- Ability to strategically assess clients' business requirements and
identify improvement opportunities
- Ability to define specific solutions within an abstract environment
Willingness to travel
