*Job Role,*
Responsible for programming and software development using various
programming languages and related tools andframeworks reviewing code
written by other programmers, requirement gathering, bug fixing,
testing, documenting and implementing software systems. Experienced
programmers are also responsible for interpreting architecture and
design, code reviews, mentoring, guiding and monitoring programmers,
ensuring adherence to programming and documentation policies, software
development, testing and release.
*Required Skills and Experience: *Priority 1 Web Developer experiences:
• Highly experienced in web development technologies
(JavaScript, HTML, CSS)
• Highly experienced with *Single Page Application (SPAs*
) frameworks (specifically AngularJS but not a requirement)
• Experienced with *CSS frameworks*
such as (specifically Bootstrap but not a requirement)
• Familiar with CSS Pre-Processors (specifically Less but
not a requirement)
• Familiar with Responsive Design techniques and implementations.
• Familiar with platform / OS / browser differences and solutions
• Familiar with *NoSQL* databases (*PouchDB a plus*)
• Familiar with JavaScript testing frameworks (Karma, Jasmine)
• Familiar with debugging web applications
• Familiar and comfortable with using Open Source methods and models
• Familiar and comfortable with *Git* as source control
• Familiar with *Node.js and NPM*
, specifically for dependency managements and tooling
• Familiar with task runners such as *Gulp or Grunt*
• Familiar with tool for web development such as
*auto-prefixer, UglifyJS, JSHint*
• Experience with mobile authentication / authorization from
a client and server side perspective (OAUTH2, OpenID Connect, JSON Web
Tokens (JWT), SAML,
etc. (a plus)
• Experience with *Beacon APIâ*€™s (a plus)
• Experienced with *Cordova* (*PhoneGap*)
• Experienced with Cordova (PhoneGap) plugins (provide
hardware integration, e.g. phone dialing, barcode / QR scanning, media
capture, etc.)
• Experienced with hybrid mobile application development,
where some aspects of the App’s UI are native and others use a
WebVeiw or Cordova / PhoneGap
