• Create Oracle Database
• Deep knowledge designing, installing and tuning Oracle databases
• Experience working within RAC environments
• Perform upgrades and patching of the database and software to new release
levels
• Start up and shut down databases
• Manage the database storage structure
• Provide 24/7/365 support, troubleshooting and monitoring
• Manage users and security
• Create and update database documentation
• Manage schema objects such as tables, indexes and views
• Perform database backups and perform recovery when necessary
• Proactively monitor and provide daily reports on the database health;
take proactive or corrective action as necessary
• Monitor and tune performance
• Administer and support Data Guard for database replication
• Administer RAC environment for databases
• Sync test databases with production
