*Job Description:*
Ø Min 10 years’ experience in designing, developing, deploying software
application
Ø 9 + years of experience in large scale system development, deployment,
and management
Ø B.S. or higher in Computer Science or equivalent knowledge and experience
Ø Good communication skills (verbal and written)
Ø 2+ years of AWS Cloud Experience including deployment, cloudformation,
cloudwatch, and autoscaling
Ø 5+ years of experience in Java coding and Rest application development
Ø Experience in support/troubleshooting/operations of Cassandra and other
NoSQL database. Setting, Modeling and optimization of Cassandra clusters is
a must.
Ø Experience in Data Migration of multiple terabytes from one Cassandra DC
to another
Ø Must possess advanced SQL skills and in depth knowledge of analytical
functions
Ø Strong Linux/Unix background and Advanced scripting knowledge e.g
python, ruby etc
Ø Experience with metrics, monitoring and alerting tools such as Graphite,
Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, Splunk
Ø Experience with CI/CD process and technologies (e.g. Jenkins, TravisCI,
or equivalent)
Ø Familiarity with OSGi containers is nice to have
Ø Must be familiar with Java 8
Ø Familiarity with tools like Git, Maven, JUnit, Mockito,
Ø Must have Experience installing and managing Kafka
