We are currently hiring for Experienced DW/BI Professionals in Chicago, IL.
Candidates should have experience leveraging MicroStrategy as the primary
BI and reporting tool and have strong Data Warehousing (Schema, Modeling,
and SQL) and ETL experience.
*Role: Lead MicroStrategy Engineer*
*Location: Chicago, IL*
*Long Term – 1 Year to begin with*
*Responsibilities*:
Acting as MicroStrategy expert to advice customers on best practices in
deploying MicroStrategy.
Working directly with our clients, prospects and partners.
Creating functional and technical requirements as an input to application
design business solution components and prototypes
Creating functional and technical requirements as an input to application
design
Working with our US-based team to deliver high quality business
intelligence solutions to our customers
Developing business intelligence applications for data analysis optimized
for the best performance and scalability requirements using MicroStrategy
technology.
*Preferred Background:*
Bachelor’s degree with 4 to 8 year's work experience in MicroStrategy
design, architecture, development and administration.
Good knowledge of data/dimension modeling and concepts (star model, snow
flake)
Good hands on experience with one or more databases such as Oracle, SQL
Server
Familiarity with installation, configuring of all MicroStrategy components
including MicroStrategy Desktop, Administrator, Intelligence Server, Web.
Bachelor's degree in computer science or computer engineering or equivalent
degree required
