*Role: Embedded Software Engineer*
*Location: SFO, CA*
*Engineer for Embedded Software*
- Has programmed CANbus, both for creating/sending messages, and for
receiving/parsing messages
- Familiar with CANbus SFF, EFF, and Fast Packet formats
- Familiar with SocketCAN driver on Linux
- Has programmed Modbus, both for Master controllers and for Slave
controllers
- Worked with SunSpec models on devices on Modbus
- Fluent in C programming and best practices (style, comments, error
handling, debugging)
- Capable in C++ programming and best practices (style, comments, error
handling, debugging)
- Fluent in Assembly (ASM) programming and best practices (style, comments,
loading, error handling, debugging)
- Working knowledge of Atmel AVR Microcontrollers, including creating
firmware from assembly (ASM) code
- Familiar with SCADA Distributed Network Protocol (DNP3)
- Have programmed a DNP3 implementation (Master and Slave)
- Familiar with Linux environment (shells, commands, scripts, directory
organization)
