Title: Can't install SAP DB
Hi everyone,

I just got it to work.  I did need to unzip it into a directory or else it gave me that error.

Keep you posted.

Patrick,

Woops, sorry - I didn't read the first part of your message properly. I've no idea what the referenced memory problem would be. Sap Db installed cleanly for me on Windows NT4 and XP professional.

Patrick,

you should have in g:\ (better to unzip to a directory e.g.g:\install) the file SDBINSt.exe. Run that to install Sap Db.

Subject: Can't install SAP DB

Hello Everyone,

I am new to Sap DB and want to install it on a Windows 2000 server but keep on getting a "referenced memory" problem when I run the SDBINST.exe

Here is my procedure:
1.downloaded sapdb-server-win-32bit-i386-7_3_018.tgz and changed it to Tar
2.extracted the tar files in my G:\

Can someone please help me.
