Hi, I have put extra trace code into DBD::ODBC (dbdimp.c). SQLFreeStmt(imp_sth->hstmt, SQL_CLOSE) is called when the statement handle is destroyed; regardless if the last select statement returned a result set or not.
I think the error is in SAP's ODBC or in SAP DB not in DBD::ODBC. Can any SAP DB developer reproduce the error (temp space used up when several select via ODBC returns no result set)?
