Hello,

I already added space, and this corrected the situation - but I am concerned
about other newbies repeating my mistake.

The output of the "info devspace" is both buggy and misleading (at least on
Windows 2000). It does seem to mix up "pages" and "KB" labels. I also find
it very confusing when it says "85% used, 15% free" when that 15% is really
allocated to the "temp data" and is NOT free!

Can someone at SAP confirmed that at minimum the problem with "KB" being
switched with "pages" on the _info devspace_ output will be corrected?

  Stephen

You can not free the temp space. This space is reserved for
some special database activities (e.g. redo the log after
a crash). Maybe the term "temp" is a little bit inappropriate.

"info state" is the more exact information.
