Hi, I've encountered a strange problem. I access SAPDB via ODBC. When I drop a user not only the user but also the role which was the default role of the user is dropped. Therefor my application crashes when I drop a user and create it again immediately.
My current version of the ODBC driver (under Linux) is 7.3.0.18. Is this problem known? Is it fixed in a newer version? BTW, the problem doesn't occur when executing the DROP USER statement in WebSQL so I guess it's a problem of the ODBC driver.
