Hi, I am running APO 3.0A with liveCache 7.2.5 Build 11 (SAP-DB). The liveCache is running on a IBM p660 SP-Attached with 24GB RAM, sitting on AIX 4.3. I am encountering some performance issues with the LC that puzzled me. As such, I would like to understand more regarding the following:-
1) Locks Escalation. How can I know what types and how many locks are used at a single point of time? When will locks escalation occurs? How can I 'delay' locks escalation? 2) Heap Memory. For AIX platform, what should be the value for OMS_HEAP_LIMIT? Is there a rule of thumb?
