Hello
I also don't know if there is any place where in the JDBC description
those details where established, but I think that the JDBC API Test is part
of the standard and so the method must work in the way the JDBC Tests API
consider as the correct one
All the main RDBMS vendors goes through this test and so their JDBC
drivers work in this way, and others as postgreSQL also use the Tests to
check their drivers. Up to this moment the JDBC drivers of IBM DB2, Oracle,
Sybase and DataDirect(Merant) between others, has been certified.
If the SAPDB driver will be tested in the future against the test to get
the J2EE certificate then the change must be do, and I think it is better
not to wait this moment to avoid future problems to the people that use
SAPDB.
Regards
Blas Rodriguez Somoza.
