Sorry if I offended someone, that we most definatly not my intention, I
was refering that single decision made by the optimizer, not the fine
people who wrote it or any other part of sapdb.

That's what I thought, the "moronic" about that was that I have quite
selective indices on the three columns in the search condition...

I guess this is caused by my non-mainstream usage of IN and/or lacking
statistics  for the optimizer to chew on.

I think, as I always have, that sapdb is a fine database and a beautiful
and wonderful gift.

... even if I have spent quite a while over the last year or two getting
bitten by and debugging various bugs in it :-D
