Hi, I run into a problem when my application trys to write the content of a text entry field into the database (7.3.0.15 under Linux with ODBC). I get an "invalid end of SQL statement" if there were "special" characters entered into the text field, e.g. AltGr+F, AltGr+T, AltGr+G, AltGr+H, AltGr+K, AltGr+L and AltGr+ (for now). These are displayes as a ? in the text field.
Is there a list of these special characters that produce the observed phenomen? Or the other way round: Which are the "legal" characters"? Thanks, Ralf. -- ## Ralf Schneider ## B-connected Linux Solutions GmbH - Linux fr den Mittelstand ## Dennis-Gabor-Str. 2, 14469 Potsdam ## www.b-connected.de _______________________________________________ sapdb.general mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://listserv.sap.com/mailman/listinfo/sapdb.general
