Hi
Svetlana,

what environment variables I must define.
The only one I know is OB2BARLIST, but there may be more. Please
be aware, that it can be tricky with older SAP DB versions to get those
environment variables into place for the DBMServer. Your SAP DB version would
help here.

Omniback and HP said - Omniback cannot work with SAPDB...
Unfortunately, that is the normal answer of HP employees, if asked
about Backint for Oracle and SAP DB. We have already 2 customers using it, and
HP's develpment department responsible for Backint for Oracle for Omniback knows
this and reassured us, that we are using Backint for Oracle in the right way. So
maybe you ask your HP to dig a little bit deeper. As a starter you should
simply configure your Backint for Omniback such, that you can back and
restore normal files by calling Backint for Oracle for Backint
manually. Your HP contact can help you with that for sure. If that is working,
you simply need to persuade SAP DB to call Backint for Oracle automatically
instead of manually, but you know already the descriptions for
that.
