Hello, thanks for the reply! You were right: I just found the thing I was missing... There were still data I overlooked in /var/opt/sapdb that persisted the reboot and reinstalls and that probably contain connection/transaction information... now I got it running again (after deleting those files). -- it's always obvious once you've found it...
