Hi Jrgen,

I would recommend to use the SAP DB Web Server wahttp to run the web tools.
It's prepared for the web tools. To use the FastCGI handler distributed with
SAP DB you should consider that the httpd.conf entry has _no_ line breaks!

And then this happens:
httpd.conf:
[...]
    AddHandler fastcgi-script fcgi

    FastCgiServer /usr/sapdb/web/pgm/wafcgi -initial \
    -env LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/sapdb/web/lib -num_sessions 1 \
    -session_tracking cookies
[...]

Gives Error:
Syntax error on line 904 of /etc/httpd/httpd.conf:
FastCgiServer /usr/sapdb/web/pgm/wafcgi: invalid value for -initial: (null)
[root@sapdb-server]:httpd #

Any Idea, whats wrong here. I'm not so familar with fast-cgi and it's
configuration, to see the error at once by myself, and I have no time to
review the wafcgi sources ...

By the way the suggested idea to symbolic link /usr/sapdb/web/pgm/wafcgi
into
the docoment dir space of the running webserver results in a "failed stat"
of
the Apache. This should be fixed in the documentation. Less expierenced uses

would be not able to solve this without help.
