I get the following error when connecting to TST database ODBC-Error: [SAP AG][LIBSQLOD SO][SAP DB]Unable to connect to data source;-709 CONNECT: (database not running). return-code: SQL_ERROR (-709)
the client is a windows xp machine, the server a linux rh6.2 one i'm using sapdb 7.3.0.21 1) the database is in warm state before and after the connection attempt 2) the log device is not full 3) i use valid accounts (dba or user accounts, not dbm) 4) i can connect from database manager, the problem only belongs to odbc connections 5) the error is the same from any odbc client (sqlstudio and access) 6) i get the same error even from websql (which uses the linux odbc libraries) what's wrong ?? please help regards, david ciarniello _______________________________________________ sapdb.general mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://listserv.sap.com/mailman/listinfo/sapdb.general
