Hi,

you can be assured, that noone will have the experience that NO update
will work.
So we need some more info:
- which kernel version and toll version do you use (7.3.0.???)
- how does your update look like
- how does your schema look like
- what kind of indexes, referential constraints, triggers do you have
- how does your knldiag look like if the connection is down
- please prepare a vtrace, see http://sapdb.2scale.net/moin.cgi/VTrace 
  and send it to us
