do you expect them to write a graphical data modeling tool and give that
away for free? Not that I wouldn't  appreciate that, but theres plenty of
those tools in the commercial market, and I think it makes sense if the
SAPDB people keep their focus where it is - improving the database server
proper. I have no problem with SQLStudio (in fact, I use command line
scripts for DDL purposes)

writing such a tool would not reqiure much inside knowledge about the DBMS
server, so wouldn't this make an ideal starting point for an outside
contribution?
