Ralf,

I am including a nice little script we use at GNU Enterprise for this very thing.
HOWEVER, we have only tested with Postgres though the principle is identical. I would
test on SAP if I could get SAPDB usable on my machine. :(

Basically run the program and its a 'wizard' to setup an ssh tunnel. It will create
another file that you simple edit what port you want to tunnel. Then when you wish to
tunnel you simply run that file. Its rather easy.

This should not be a problem. I regularly run a local version of postgres on port
5432 and a remote one on 54320. I highly suggest you try attach script. :)
