the full backup I used was consistent.

When I try to bring up the database to warm state I receive error code -24988 -->
description: sql error [db_warm -f]; -118,Message not available.

Was the full backup consistent? Otherwise you need to restore the relevant
log backups.

What is the error message you get in DBMGUI while trying to start the
database?
