during creation of a database instance via dbmcli (v7.3.0.18 on a HP-UX 11.0 box) we got a -24963 error when executing following command: param_adddevspace 1 DATA /dev/vgdb12/rsapdb_herm1_data01 R 131072 dbmcli message: ERR -24963 ERR_DEVCHECK error while checking devspace 1, illegal devsize on devspace Is this the same problem that troubled Stefan Lober (he wanted to create a raw device devspace of 1355483 pages, see his mail on Feb 1, 2002 (Subject: raw device problem on llinux), and the answer of J�rg Mensing on the same day)? Is this the only fix to upgrade to v7.3.0.20 (I am now very cautious when upgrading after the debacle with the -9111 system error after the upgrade to v7.3.0.21 ;-) )? Thanks in advance!
