Hi Ruben

Do you use the latest ODBC driver?
If yes, please send me the MS driver manager trace then.

Can you get the ODBC trace anyway (i.e. when no error occurs).
It's weird that the trace file is empty since it is written syncronous.

Regards  Thomas

Subject: GPF with ODBC driver

I'm experiencing a problem with the ODBC driver (v7.3) for Win32. It works fine when I define an INTERNAL connection but when I try to establish a connection in the ORACLE mode or any other mode, it produces a memory protection error in the application that makes the connection. This does not occur if I use the INTERNAL mode. I use Powerbuilder 7 and 5 as my development environment but I also tried with MSQUERY with the same results.
My development environment is Windows NT 4.0 Server SP6 Spanish. I tried local and remote connections and also tried in Windows 2000 professional SP2 Spanish.
I enable the tracing in the ODBC driver but when the app crashes the trace file is empty.
Any help or suggestion with parameters or patches that might help will be highly appreciated.
Thanks a lot in advance
