Thank you very much again,

I will try it.
But then, unfortunately I've to enhance my import script a little bit.
Currently I have only a "for each loop" without the
attributlist against
a list of tables which has to be exported/imported.
The only way to implement this now is to go through the
metadata of the
tables and include the attribute list that way
during the import, isn't it?

Can't you specify your dataextract command like this
'DATAEXTRACT FOR DATALOAD TABLE <table name>
OUTFILE <command file name>
OUTFILE <data file name>'

Reading my old XLOAD docs it should be possible. This command
generates a data file and a command file which includes the
CREATE TABLE stmt and the DATALOAD stmt. And as far as I know
it creates the latter with this 'nice' DEFAULT NULL' stuff.
Did you try this already?

Steffen
