Error codes

Hi All   Is there a user defined error codes range? We need the own system of error and status codes in SQL code. According the "Messages Reference for SAP DB 7.3" all codes from 0 to 25999 and -1 to -28999 are system reserved. What range we can use to absolutely guarantee no intersection with system codes?   Best regards Dmitri
