how to migrate data to another machine ?

Hi,      Could anyone tell me how to migrate my database files from one machine to another machine. And do I need to have SAP DB Server running on the second machine as well.  Explanation :       I have SAP DB installed on my machine and I created a few tables and I have my application which uses these tables. Now I want to migrate this application to another machine. Do I need to install SAP DB server on the other machine as well before I can use these tables and my application ??       Secondly, if I have to install the SAP DB server on target machine as well, could you tell me which would be my database files that I need to port over to the target machine so that I dont have to recreate all the tables and at the same time I should be able to use my populated tables on target machine.      I can see that some files are created in C:\data and C:\program files\indep_data folders. I copied those files but still its not showing my databases there, what other files or modifications are to be made to make it work ?  Thanks in advance  Vivek Chopra
