Maybe you want to use Unicode to store data in Thai? Setting it up is
documented in the User Manual (also a link is on the main web page :-).
Basically, you'll want to set Unicode as the default char set.( view the
User Manual online or download from
http://www.sapdb.org/sap_db_documentation.htm ).

BTW, I don't think 7.4 is production ready yet (anyone?) Maybe 7.3 will
be safer...
