Hi Andreas, it seems your problem is in the hosts file on your server (as discussed here several times).
Make an entry in the /etc/hosts for each workstation in the network e.g. 192.168.1.100 Machine1 192.168.1.101 Machine2 192.168.1.1 Server Hth.
