Message----- Hi there, Well I think I have
pretty much finished converting the db from sql server to sap .. and its
working pretty well. Very pleased! Although it does report
now and again “Invalid authorization” but if I restart it its
ok… Let me try and explain
whats happening and maybe somebody can offer some advice? It is a
telecommunications application that has 45 channels(channels meaning scripts
that connect to the database and run various querys)… most of the
scripts/channels connect to the database but some fail… If I restart the scripts
(that failed) to reconnect to the database then all is fine so I was wondering
that if it runs out of connections or something… When I start the application
there are around 45 scripts all trying to connect to the database…. They
all connect i.e. OPEN the database without problem but about 4 scripts fail
when doing a SELECT if I just restart these its fine…. It seems to be
that they are all doing things at once.. I hope I explained that
correctly <grin>…. Thanks in advance Ian
