ODBC driver and user authentication

Hi, �� I am using a 3rd party program which uses odbc. Unfortunately it adds a null (ascii zero or string terminator) character at the end to the username/password when passing it to the sap driver. (I can see the null in the driver trace) So SAPDB fails to authenticate the user. The program works correctly with other odbc drivers. Is the SAPDB7.3 ODBC driver source available and where? Does anybody have any solutions other than modifying the odbc driver? (Modifying the other program doesn’t seem to be an option.The source is not available) Regards and thanks, ��� Ajit
