Possibly. It would be good to see the email addresses filtered from the web archive, and also to only allow posting from subscribed addresses. It possibly makes it a little harder for casual posters, but should cut down on the spam problem.
Is someone harvesting email addresses from the mailing list. I've seem to have an increase in spam from the sapdb mailing list.
