Hi, we are using sapdb 7.25 as a productive system. It runs on a RedHat Linux with 2.2 Kernel. Every night a cronjob does a logbackup into the filesystem. On last Friday we had unfortunately a lot of activity in the DB. The log has now a size of 2.4 GB. Because of the filesize limit of the os the logbackup failed.
How can I backup and clear my log? In the manuals stands something about backup with media change, but this did not work. If I start the backup with dbmcli interactively it finishes with: -24988,ERR_SQL: sql error -102,SQL statement cancelled and the following command backup_replace logsave gives: ERR -24988,ERR_SQL: sql error -7078,No backup is running So what am I doing wrong ? regards Werner -- Werner Breuer PharmLog GmbH Siemensstr. 1 59199 Boenen 02383/930440 _______________________________________________ sapdb.general mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://listserv.sap.com/mailman/listinfo/sapdb.general
