Hello SAP folks,
I am still working on a potential SAP build and distribution for Debian
as a .deb, but I seem to be at an impass, and could use some help. (note:
I have not officially taken it until I have at least some results from my
build process)
I am building along just fine, but my major errors seem to come from this
vein:
Can't load
'/heavensbreath/sapdb/sapdb-7.3.0.25/DevTool/lib/perl5/PipeExec.so' for
module SAPDB::Install::PipeExec:
/heavensbreath/sapdb/sapdb-7.3.0.25/DevTool/lib/perl5/PipeExec.so: undefined
symbol: PL_sv_undef at /usr/lib/perl/5.8.0/DynaLoader.pm line 225.

Perl doesn't seem to want to load PipeExec.so. My perl version is
debian-unstable as perl5.8.0, (whose binary modules are not backwards
compatible). My current problem is that I don't see the source for:
PipeExec.so
SMB.so
Jar.so
SysInfo.so
Basically I am wondering, how are these modules built, and is there any
source for them. They do not appear to be standard CPAN modules, so there's
gotta be some .xs or .c source for them. I grepped out the source tree
looking for them, and found nothing (and are packaged inside of the source
tree in binary format). Are they located outside of the main source
archive? Am I missing something, or are they actually not there?
Please let me know. Thanks for any help people can offer.
