A college of mine commented that the SAPDB mailing list sometimes had a "surprising" tone given the "commercial background" of the product and paid support staff. Personally I didn't agree with him, but that might be that I have worked with SAP folks in the past (including a visit to Waldorf). And he is more a true-green Microsoft background, where I've mixed commercial and open source products for many years...
