Use the "Database Wizard" to recreate/create the database, and make sure you choose "Recovery" instead of "Installation" on one of the last steps of the wizard. When the wizard finishes, the database should be in the state COLD/ADMIN, don't restart it to state ONLINE/WARM. Just restore your backup with the DBMGUI and restart the database only after the restore.
