Hi,
I made a little test. I had an instance A, I made a complete backup and
finally droped it.
then I create a new instance B (with the same name as instance A), and I
tried to recover the complete backup of instance A. I'm using the Database
Manager GUI.
These are what I did
1. I start the instance B in Admin mode.
2. In Recovery tab I choose the option Database.
3. In the location of the medium file I put the path of the complete
backup "C:\Program Files\sapdb\indep_data\config\pruebabackA"
4. Everything was good but when I tried to start the recovery process
SAPDB shows me this message "sql_error (db_warm -f) Error Code 24988.
Message not available"..
my question is why?
