Hi!
I just created a SapDB Debian Package for Woody.
I opened up a apt-get source:
Add this to your /apt/sources.list:
- ---------x----------x-----------x------------x--------------x------------
deb ftp://sapdb.automatix.de/debian/automatix ./
- ---------x----------x-----------x------------x--------------x------------
After adding, a "apt-get update" and "apt-get install sapdb"
should work and install sapdb-7.3.00.29 into the System.
The Installation is based on the tar.gz SDBINST:
groupadd -o -g 75 sapdb
useradd -u 75 -d /usr/sapdb -s /bin/bash -c "SapDB Runtime User" -g sapdb sapdb
./SDBINST -o sapdb -g sapdb -n localhost -d /usr/sapdb/depend -i /usr/sapdb/indep_prog
-I /usr/sapdb/indep_data
Any Test Comments and suggestions to improve the Package are welcome.
