I installed a SAP Web AS 6.10 instance (on Windows 2000) and then also the SAPDB Database Manager tool. However, as I try to register the database instance in Database Manager, it asks for the password of the DBM. I could swear that the r3setup process did not ask for any password for the dbm user, just the <SID>adm and SAPservice<SID> users were included in the install. So, now I can not register my new SAP instance in DB Manager because I have no idea what the dbm user/password combination is. Is there some sort of a default that r3setup is using? How can I find that out? Or do I have to completely remove and reinstall the instance? But then again, I don't remember having an option during the instance install to enter a dbm password at all..
