Hi,

-2008 means 'volume size too small' (which cannot be reported as textual message because the database table containing the message does not exist in that state...).

Sounds like it could help you to reconfigure with bigger volumes.

when i attempt to create a new instance of the database by initialising with the default values, it fails... but when i attempt to create a database by using the (primarily) unitialised version that failed (i.e., copying the parameters from my first attempt) the second database works no problems...

 

this is somewhat frustrating because i can not remove the old (failed) DB...

 

the error i get is below (here i have attempted to create a Business Warehouse called 'E' and the database version is 7.3.0.0)
