not necessary, you can set autolog on. check in sapdb documentation for
details and how to set up this.

which ratio of data- and log-size is recommed?
and how big must a log be?
will i have to have a big log if i do big transactions? (big transaction
= transaction where much is deleted or inserted before commit)
