Mat --

Thanks very much!  Your hints provided enough information to get the tools installed and connected.

Best wishes!

Hi Bob,

i think you are talking about the dbmcli, the dbmgui and the sql studio.
The dbmcli is within the 'normal' package of SAPDB installation and you can access it in a dos-box (for the commands take a look into the manuals).
The dbmgui and the sql studio have to be installed seperately from the 'normal' installation. On my CD i found them in the directory:
X:\ftp\bin\win32\dbmgui74-setup.exe
and
X:\ftp\bin\win32\sqlstudio74-setup.exe

Best regards

Betreff: Install problems with SAP Tools

Hi --

Platform -- Windows 2000 Professional.

We installed the sapdb ver 7.3 from a cd rom recieved from SAP.  The log file indicated the install was successful.

However, we cannot access the database -- we do not seem to be able to find or install any of the tools talked about in the documentation.

Can anyone help?

Thanks!

Bob Acker, Mead Colorado, USA.
