Hello SAPdb folks --

I have SAPdb running and am able to add and edit data in the TST database.

The windows versions of Database Manager and SQL Studio work.

However, I cannot seem to get the web tools working.

Here is what I have done so far:

  1. I first attempted to install and use the sap web server using SDBINST.exe
  2. Things seemed to work ok, except the install could not find the WA.REG file.  I located it and ran it, getting the entries into the registry.
  3. However, when I call the page http://localhost:85/webdbm i get "The requested URL/webdbm not found on this server".
SAP-Internet-SapDb-Server/1.0 Server at localhost Port 85
  4. So we know the sap web server is functioning.

I also attempted the apache setup...  apache works but also returns the same error at port 80,

It looks like the web server cannot find the webdbm files.

Currently the webdbm*.* search returns:
webdbm.lib at C:\programs\sapdb\depend\lib
webdbm.dll at c:\programs\sapdb\depend\pgm
webdbm.map at c:\programs\sapdb\depend\Support\Mapfiles
webdbm.dbg at c:\programs\sapdb\depend\symbols
webdbm.dll at c:\programs\sapdb\web\pgm

Any suggestions to make the web tools work?

Thanks!

Bob Acker
