There are plans to overcome it. But they are no short-term-plans. We can call them medium- to long-term. We cannot tell you anything about time-schedule, therefore: don't wait for it. There are plans for 32KB, may be 64KB. Please do not start a discussion about the maximum length. We will do what we can as fast as we can. Until then only different tables or columns of datatype LONG (with their restrictions) may help.
